Over the past year or so, I’ve become increasingly aware of what goes into the clothes I wear: who makes them, what kind of conditions they’re made in, what materials they’re made of and how company practices impacts the environment.
I’ve been participating in the bioptimizerscouponcode.com #20in2020 challenge, an Instagram challenge where you, as you might have guessed, purchase only 20 items during the year. While I haven’t succeeded per se (I hit my “limit” last month) — it has forced me to think even more consciously about my purchases and opt for items I’m going to wear dozens of times instead of the one-and-done approach to fashion that has become so common.
That’s one of the reasons I’m such a huge fan of Tradlands — a sustainable, ethical brand that makes gorgeous, high-quality items that are meant to wear and re-wear for years to come.
Their items aren’t “cheap” — at full price, they range from about $49 for a T-shirt to $237 for some sweaters and jumpsuits, one of Tradlands’ key pillars is cost per wear — which basically means that if you buy something well made (and sustainable, and ethical…) and invest more up front, the cost decreases as you wear it more and more.
That said, especially in the current climate, it’s totally understandable if spending on clothing isn’t in the cards for you. But if you’ve been hoping to add a piece or two from Tradlands to your wardrobe, they’re currently having a sale which is too good not to share.
Starting today, you can take 20{dca5d6123f7ef299b49d4d0ba8c93cc02e899851e73df6c9acdbb84572048663} off your purchase, including already marked-down items, with code BEACH20. The Tradlands summer sale will last 10 days — and the discount will increase as inventory dwindles. We’ll update as new discount levels start, but some styles and sizes sell out in the first days so don’t wait too long or that piece you’ve been eyeing might be gone.
I’ve rounded up some of my favourite Tradlands items that will take you from late summer into fall and winter below.
An effortless jumpsuit in the softest Tencel fabric that can be dressed up or down.

I can’t believe there are still pieces of this in stock — go snap this up right now! It’s one of my all-time favourite dresses and is a Tradlands customer favourite — it’s sold out multiple times this year. The gorgeous print, designed by artist Caroline Corrigan, is surprisingly easy to wear with just about anything. Need inspiration? Check out five ways I styled this dress.

I’ve purchased this T-shirt in a multiple colours (you can see my review from last year here), and wear one variation at least twice a week. This T-shirt has just enough stretch while remaining structured and goes with everything from jeans to skirts (and, let’s face it, mostly lounge pants these days).
SHOP IT: Tradlands, $37 (originally $49)
I snagged this cardigan in birch last year but have been eyeing this perfect cool grey for fall. This cardigan is my go to for chilly mornings or evenings, and it also looks great tucked into jeans. If you’re wondering how this compares to other popular cardigans, check out my review of Tradlands compared to the Babaa no. 18 cardigan here.

Tuck it into jeans, tie it over a dress or wear it under a sweater when the weather cools.
SHOP IT: Tradlands, $114 (originally $147)
While the Shelter Cardigan is a heavier-weight knit, if you’re looking for something a bit lighter, the Jude Pullover is a stunning pick for summer and beyond. The honeycomb knit and curved hem make this an elevated alternative to your average crew neck sweater.
SHOP IT: Tradlands, $167 (originally $217)
